Fresh from Cannes Critics' Week, Pauline Loquès's debut feature film, which arrives at Karhupuisto, is big at heart and, despite its serious subject, full of love, warmth and humour. Nino, 29, is completely surprised to learn that he is seriously ill: treatment must begin immediately after the weekend. Before that, however, he must manage to get through his birthday party without spoiling the atmosphere. It is difficult to hide the big news. Digesting it takes Nino on a journey through Paris, where he must confront himself and his past. The main role is played by the highly-rated Théodore Pellerin, who won the Rising Star award at Cannes for his role.
