The new documentary, which became a festival hit in the United States and grossed a million dollars at the box office, is the opening film of the Karhupuisto Film Festival. At the beginning of the millennium, a group of East Coast artists became frustrated with the way commercial spaces were taking over cities. They decided to secretly build an apartment in the shopping mall where they lived from 2003 to 2007. Directed by Jeremy Workman and produced by Jesse Eisenberg, the documentary is full of good-natured anarchy and early millennium nostalgia. The Washington Post described the film as “unexpectedly inspirational”. Jimmy Fallon agreed with the praise: “it's unlike anything I've ever seen.”
