Richard Linklater's timeless Gen X classic Love Before Dawn will be given a 30th anniversary screening at Karhupuisto. The film, which spawned two sequels, has retained its magical charm with an unabashed appeal. Who wouldn't have spent a night wandering and talking aimlessly along the streets of Kallio or Vienna like Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Céline (Julie Delpy). Soulmates can surprise you on the train and on the summer streets of Karhupuisto. Or as Olavi Uusivirta sings, "the rails go through Kallio, maybe you have to go..."

Checklist for an outdoor film screening:

- There are limited restrooms in the area - plan ahead and pee before you arrive
