Author Emmi-Liia Sjöholm adapted her dialogue novel Virtahevot  into a screenplay with Dome Karukoski. The film Rakkautta ja virtahepoja will premiere in autumn 2026. How was the encounter of two strangers on a summer night, painted through subtle dialogue, brought to the big screen? 

Sjöholm will be joined in conversation by screenwriter and cinematographer Johanna Holvikallio from the Finnish Guild of Screenwriters.
