In just a few years, Lithuania has risen from obscurity to become one of Europe's most intriguing film nations. In this panel, representatives of a new generation with a distinct voice—director Karolis Kaupinis (Hunger Strike Breakfast), director and cinematographer Vytautas Katkus (Svečias – The Visitor), and producer Marija Razgutė (Svečias – The Visitor, Hunger Strike Breakfast)—will discuss the Lithuanian film scene, cultural policy, and the remarkable rise of new cinema. 

The moderator will be filmmaker, critic, and curator Otto Kylmälä.
