In Harbin, an industrial city in Northeast China, a schoolboy tries to sell his trading cards to an older student, but the cards are forcibly taken from him. The boy decides to take revenge on the surrounding world for this injustice. This spring, Di san xian (Kleptomania) won the CUPRA Filmmaker Award at the Berlinale, which is given for original directing.
