Arriving in Karhupuisto straight from Cannes Critics' Week, Pauline Loquès' debut feature film is big-hearted and, despite its serious subject matter, full of love, warmth, and humor. Nino, 29, is completely unexpectedly told that she is seriously ill: treatment must begin immediately after the weekend. Before that, however, she must get through her birthday party without spoiling the mood. The big news is hard to keep a secret. Processing it takes Nino on a journey through Paris, where she must confront herself and her past. The lead role is played by the rising star Théodore Pellerin, who won the Rising Star award in Cannes for his role.
