Six-pack movie (Pussikaljaelokuva) returns home to Kallio! Based on Mikko Rimminen's novel "Pussikaljaromaani" and directed by Ville Jankeri, the film is one of the key portrayals of Kallio. The film receives its well-deserved anniversary screening in Karhupuisto with guest creators and a themed walking tour.

Six-pack movie is already a nostalgic ode to idleness and aimlessness. Set over one summer day, the film follows the odyssey of three thirty-something lifestyle unemployed men – Marsalkka, Lihi, and Henninen – from Kustaa Vaasa's terrace to Pengerpuisto, and from Helsinginkatu to Hakaniemi, culminating at dawn in Karhupuisto.

The challenges for the heartfelt trio, played by Jussi Nikkilä, Eero Milonoff, and Ylermi Rajamaa, throughout the day include stepping in dog poop, HSL fines, and a power outage at the bar. "We are complete losers," Henninen laments, but friendship prevails.

The film, which employs Rimminen's rich idiom, is full of places familiar to Helsinki residents. The work also reveals the significant changes in Kallio over 15 years.

The screening is organized in cooperation with Fat Lizard.
